Synthetic audience simulation for testing a decision
A hosted service operated by MSECO, built on the open-source MiroFish engine.
MiroFish UK is a hosted web service that lets a team test a decision against a generated synthetic audience, and returns a written study. A team supplies the material and describes who should react, the synthetic audience reacts over several rounds of discussion, and the report sets out a readiness verdict, key findings, segment reactions, risks, and what to change.
Its results are synthetic and directional. The service says plainly that they are not polling, not real respondents and not a prediction, and that the readiness score is not a probability.
The service is aimed at agencies pressure-testing work before it reaches a client, marketing teams testing before they spend, and product and strategy teams checking a decision before they commit.
Built on open-source MiroFish
MiroFish UK runs a modified version of the open-source MiroFish project by 666ghj, licensed under AGPL-3.0. It is an independent hosted service, not the upstream project, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by its authors. The source of the running service is published at mirofish.co.uk/source.
The service's own account is that it exists so that a team can find the objections, disagreements and risks in a decision before customers, journalists or employees do. A single response gives a first impression, while a discussion gives second thoughts.
It is designed for directional stress-testing. It is not statistically representative market research, and it does not replace legal or PR review.
MiroFish UK is a hosted service built on the open-source MiroFish engine. MSECO's work is the service layer around the engine and the public site.
A quick study and a standard study, with the standard run over more rounds of discussion and a fuller report.
Reports can be shared by public link and exported as PDF or Markdown. Private client links with a password and expiry, and PowerPoint export, are available on higher plans.
The service says that every quotation in a published report is checked against what the audience actually said, and that unverifiable claims are removed.
The complete source of the running version is published on the service's own site.
