Websites for local UK small businesses, with search and AI-search visibility services
Smart Conneqt is a UK web-design studio for local small businesses, such as sole traders, trades, clinics, shops and local services. Its plan is to build the website first, then offer an optional monthly plan for hosting and for visibility in local search and in AI-generated answers.
A companion showroom presents sample website themes for different kinds of local business, so that a customer can shortlist a style before asking for a custom build.
The public website is not live yet.
Smart Conneqt's own account of the problem is that too many local businesses are sold expensive, complicated websites they cannot edit, tied to contracts they do not understand. It aims to build useful websites and explain everything in plain English.
A second concern, in its own account, is that more people now ask AI tools for recommendations instead of scrolling a list of links. If those tools do not understand or trust a business, it can be invisible at the moment a customer is deciding. Smart Conneqt treats local search and AI-answer visibility together, and says that no honest provider can guarantee a place in AI answers.
The model starts with a small starter site and scales up to a larger site with a blog, bookings or an online shop.
An optional monthly plan covers hosting and updates, with local-search and AI-search visibility work on top.
A ladder of services runs from an audit through an implementation sprint to a retainer and a full build, aimed at visibility in local search and AI answers.
